Trail Mix Bran Muffins

Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups trail mix
  • 2 cups bran cereal with raisins
  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg

Directions:

  1. Combine all the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder and salt) into a large bowl and whisk together. Set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl combine trail mix, bran cereal with raisins, milk, honey, vegetable oil, and egg. Carefully stir everything together until combined.
  3. Portion the muffin mix into a 12 top muffin pan. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Serve warm with butter and honey. Enjoy!
