Slow Cooker Boneless Pork Shoulder Roast

Recipe Courtesy Chef Bryan Woolley

Ingredients:

  • 6-7 pound boneless pork shoulder
  • 8 cups beef stock
  • 1/4 cup steak seasoning of your choice
  • olive oil

Directions:

  1. Heat a large skillet on the stove and add enough olive oil to coat the bottom of the pan.
  2. Brown the boneless pork shoulder on all sides and transfer to your slow cooker.
  3. Depending on the size of the roast or your slow cooker, you may need to adjust the amount of beef stock. I use enough to almost cover the roast but not quite submerged.
  4. Sprinkle the steak seasoning blend of your choice over the pork roast.
  5. Cover and cook the roast for approximately 9 hours or until fork tender. My slow cooker has a low and high setting and it took 9.5 hours on high to cook the boneless pork shoulder roast to fork tender.
  6. Serve with your favorite assortment of vegetables and enjoy!
