Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients:

  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 2 cups flour, bread flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin pie spice blend
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree

Directions:

  1. I made this bread in my bread machine, however, you do not need a bread machine to make it.
  2. Add the ingredients into your bread machine or mixer in the order listed. Blend until everything is well incorporated. If using a bread machine, it should take care of blending the ingredients together. You may need to scrap the sides of the bread pan with a rubber spatula.
  3. If mixing by hand make sure everything is well incorporated and the batter is smooth. Spray a 7x3 bread pan with vegetable spray and pour the prepared pumpkin bread batter in the pan.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350 degree’s and bake the pumpkin bread until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center of the pan. Plan on about 1 hour.
  5. If using a bread machine, follow the manufactures directions for baking the bread. I bake mine like a cake with a medium crust.
  6. When fully baked, remove from the oven and allow the loaf to cool completely. Remove the loaf from the bread pan, serve and enjoy!
