Puff Pastry Pinwheels

Pesto and Roasted Bell Pepper Pinwheels

Ingredients:

  • 1 puff pastry sheet
  • 1/2 cup prepared pesto
  • 1/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup roasted red bell pepper, diced

Directions:

  1. Place the puff pastry sheet in front of you on a lightly floured work surface.
  2. Spread the pesto, parmesan cheese and diced roasted red bell pepper over the puff pastry.
  3. Roll the long edge of the puff pastry up like you would a cinnamon roll.
  4. Cut the puff pastry roll into 1/2 inch rounds and place them flat side down on a parchment line baking sheet.
  5. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve and Enjoy!

Dessert Pinwheels

Ingredients:

  • 1 puff pastry sheet
  • 1 cup prepared fruit filling (apple, cherry, poppy seed…)
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Directions:

  1. Sprinkle the sugar on your work surface and place the puff pastry sheet on top of the sugar.
  2. Spread your filling of choice onto the puff pastry sheet and roll the long edge of the pastry up like you would a cinnamon roll.
  3. Cut the puff pastry roll into 1/2 inch rounds and place them flat side down on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve and Enjoy!
