Ingredients:

  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 pounds fresh ground meat
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup minced fresh parsley leaves
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh sage minced or dry sage
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degree’s. Soak the bread crumbs in the milk until the milk is absorbed, about 5 minutes.
  2. Mix together all ingredients. Shape the meat into a loaf in a baking pan. Bake 45-60 minutes or until done. A meat thermometer inserted into the center should read 160 degree’s.
