Glazed Holiday Ham

Ingredients:

  • 1 spiral cut ham
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup whole grain dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup whisky or apple cider

Directions:

  1. Choose the right ham for your needs. The butcher is a great resource to help you get the right size of ham for the amount of people you are cooking for.
  2. Follow the package directions on the ham for cooking it appropriately.
  3. While the ham is cooking, add the maple syrup, dark brown sugar, whole grain dijon mustard, whisky or apple cider to a large sauté pan.
  4. Pour the freshly prepared glaze over the ham during the last 20 minutes of cooking. Be careful not to add the glaze too soon, otherwise, it will burn due to the amount of sugar in the glaze.
  5. Serve the glazed ham with your favorite sides and enjoy!
