Fried Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 6 pieces chicken
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp sage
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • oil for frying

Directions:

  1. Preheat a large pot with about 3 inches of oil in the bottom. Preheat the oil to 360 degree’s. Use a thermometer to keep the oil at the correct temperature.
  2. In a large boil whisk the eggs together.
  3. In a large re-sealable bag, combine the flour and the spices together. Shake to combine everything.
  4. Dip the chicken pieces in the egg and than shake to coat them in the flour mixture.
  5. Carefully place the prepared chicken pieces in the preheated oil and fry until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve with mashed potatoes or cheesy macaroni, green beans and artisan bread. Enjoy!
